- INTRODUCTION
This Application collects some Personal Data from its Users.
This Privacy Policy (“Policy“) explains how Blocktopus Enterprise Ltd., a company incorporated under the laws of the British Virgin Islands (“Company“, “we“, “us“, or “our“) collects, uses, discloses, and protects your information when you interact with the Mosaic Chain ecosystem, including our websites, decentralized applications, node software, and related services (collectively, the “Services“).
Protecting your privacy is fundamental to our core values. We only collect data that is strictly necessary for the operation, security, and enhancement of the Mosaic Chain network and to provide you with requested services (such as notifications).

- INFORMATION WE COLLECT AND HOW WE USE IT
Based on the specific service or application you use within the MosaicChain ecosystem, we collect different types of data:
2.1. Global Error Reporting & Diagnostics
Across all our web projects and applications, we collect diagnostic data when an error occurs to help our developers fix bugs and improve system stability.
- Data Collected: IP address, Browser type and version (e.g., Google Chrome), Operating System (e.g., Windows, iOS, Android), Device information, and a log of the sequence of actions that led to the error.
- Purpose: To debug software issues, monitor platform stability, and ensure a seamless user experience.
- Legal Basis: Legitimate Interest (improving and securing our IT infrastructure).
2.2. Sentinel (mainnet-sentinel.mosaicchain.io)
The Sentinel service allows users to receive automated email notifications regarding validator status changes and NFT lifecycle events.
- Data Collected: Email address (Personally Identifiable Information – PII), and your On-chain account identifier/address (PII).
- Purpose: To authenticate you via a verification code and to send you requested automated alerts (e.g., validator chilling events, NFT ownership changes, nominal value updates, NFT activations, and expirations).
- Legal Basis: Consent and Performance of a Contract (providing the notification service you requested).
2.3. VPN Controller (mainnet-vpn.mosaicchain.io)
The VPN Controller acts as an entry point to the network, allowing users to reserve a unique machine name for their validator node.
- Data Collected: Email address (PII), Computer/Machine name (PII), and Unique computer identifier (PII).
- Purpose: To authenticate users via email verification, securely reserve node names, and display registered validators on the Explorer.
- Legal Basis: Performance of a Contract (facilitating node registration and network participation).
2.4. Telemetry (mainnet-telemetry.mosaicchain.io)
If you operate a Validator node on the Mosaic Chain, the node software automatically reports technical telemetry data to our central servers.
- Data Collected: Machine/Node name (PII), IP Address and ISP/Network routing data (PII), Unique identifier, Blockchain state (block height), CPU type and core count, RAM amount, Motherboard/Hardware architecture details, Current upload/download speeds, Number of connected peers, Transaction queue data, Blockchain name (e.g., Polkadot / Mosaic Chain), Virtual Machine (VM) and Cloud hosting status, OS details (e.g., Mosaic Validator OS, Linux distribution, kernel version, environment), Node implementation type, Hardware performance metrics (CPU score, Disk I/O, RAM I/O), and System boot time.
- Purpose: To monitor the health, performance, and security of the decentralized network, and specifically to monitor compliance with the Validator operational restrictions outlined in our Terms & Conditions (e.g., verifying dedicated physical hardware, noticing the prohibited Cloud/VPS hosting, and noticing when more than one Validator operates per IP address/location).
- Legal Basis: Performance of a Contract (enforcing the Terms & Conditions) and Legitimate Interest (ensuring the integrity, security, and decentralization of the public blockchain network).
2.5. Explorer (mainnet-explorer.mosaicchain.io)
The Explorer is a block explorer that reads and displays data directly from the public blockchain and from the validators as well.
- Data Collected: The Explorer interface itself does not collect personal data directly from end-users, aside from standard web server logs (e.g., IP addresses for DDoS protection).
- Public Blockchain Data: Please be aware that any transaction data, wallet addresses, and pallet interactions broadcasted to the Mosaic Chain are public, immutable, and visible to anyone worldwide. We do not control this public data and cannot alter or delete it.
2.6. Customer Support and Communications ([email protected])
When you send an email to our official support address, we receive and store the information you voluntarily provide.
- Data Collected: Name, email address, phone number (if provided), the content of your message, screenshots, and attached error descriptions.
- Purpose: To process your inquiry, provide technical support, resolve software issues, and maintain a history of communication for quality control.
- Storage Environment: These data are stored within our cloud-based email infrastructure (Zoho Mail) operated via technological service agreements. They are not compiled into a separate marketing database.
- Legal Basis: Legitimate Interest (providing efficient customer support) and pre-contractual measures.
- HOW WE SHARE YOUR DATA
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties for marketing purposes. We may share your data only in the following circumstances:
- Service Providers: With trusted third-party vendors who provide hosting, email delivery (e.g., for Sentinel verification codes), and database management services. These providers are bound by strict confidentiality agreements.
- Legal and Regulatory Authorities: If required by law, court order, or governmental regulation, or to protect the safety, rights, or property of the Company, our users, or the public.
- Public Blockchain: As inherent to blockchain technology, your on-chain address, validator name (if registered), and transaction history are permanently public.
- DATA RETENTION
We retain your personal data only for as long as is necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Policy:
- Email Addresses and Account Data: Retained as long as you use the Sentinel or VPN Controller services. You may request deletion at any time.
- Telemetry and Error Logs: Retained for a limited period necessary for security monitoring and debugging, after which they are aggregated or permanently deleted.
- YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS
Depending on your jurisdiction (such as the European Economic Area under the GDPR), you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Right to Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Right to Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Right to Erasure (“Right to be Forgotten”): Request deletion of your personal data from our active, operational off-chain databases. Note on Backups: Personal data stored in automated system backups (such as the VPN Controller backups) cannot be deleted immediately due to technical constraints. However, such data will remain isolated, encrypted, and protected from active processing, and will be permanently overwritten and destroyed automatically within our standard 14-day backup retention cycle. Furthermore, we cannot delete data written to the immutable public blockchain.
- Right to Withdraw Consent: Where applicable, you can withdraw your consent to receive Sentinel emails by unsubscribing or contacting us.
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at [email protected].
- SECURITY OF YOUR DATA
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, loss, or destruction. However, no internet transmission is 100% secure. You are responsible for keeping your wallet private keys and email accounts secure.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services or legal requirements. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated Policy on this page and updating the “Last Updated” date.
