This week, the Mosaic Chain team made significant progress in various areas of development. Here’s an overview of what we achieved and our plans for the upcoming week:
Highlights of the Week
- Indexer 2.0 Updates
While we’ve made great strides in feature development for the Indexer 2.0, this week, our focus shifted to key technical improvements, including:- Automated database migrations.
- Preparations for performance measurements.
- Testnet Infrastructure Automation
Work began on automating the testnet infrastructure, which we aim to complete by next Tuesday.
- Admin Backend Integration
The admin backend has now been integrated into the installer.
- Benchmark Development
Writing benchmarks has been a top priority, ensuring robust testing and performance analysis for the chain.
- UX/UI Enhancements
Progress continued on medium- and long-term UI/UX improvements to enhance the user experience for all Mosaic Chain users.
Plans for Next Week (December 2-6)
- Continue performance measurement development.
- Advance medium- and long-term UX/UI improvements.
- Continue working on benchmarks and testing.
Current Status and Key Goals
- Indexer
Our primary focus remains on ensuring its stability and performance. Robustness is the key objective at this stage.
- Chain Challenges
Despite progress, some areas are taking more time than anticipated, including:- Managing constant, undocumented updates in the Polkadot SDK and Substrate codebase, requiring us to stay perpetually up-to-date.
- Implementing and benchmarking the complex tokenomics, which has proven intricate and time-consuming.
- Security Audit
We received the Blockdeep report for the chain. It revealed no critical issues, and we achieved an impressive average score of over 4 out of 5.
- Roadmap Commitment
Across all project components, we are prioritizing stability and reliability while striving to stay on track with our roadmap.
Stay tuned as we continue working towards building a robust and high-performance Mosaic Chain ecosystem!
