During the week of November 11-15, the Mosaic Chain development team made significant strides in several key areas:
- Indexer 2.0: We focused on finalizing the remaining features for Indexer 2.0. We’re on track to complete it next week.
- Validator Admin API: Work continues on the first blockchain API for the Validator Admin. This API will allow users to place their nodes into “chill” mode and then reactivate them when needed.
- Staking Incentive Formulas: The implementation of the staking incentive formulas on the chain is underway, setting the stage for robust staking mechanisms.
Upcoming Plans (Nov 18-22)
Our focus for the upcoming week includes:
- Completing the development of the Indexer 2.0 features.
- Kicking off additional medium- and long-term UX improvements on the UI side.
- Finalizing the implementation of the chill/unchill feature for Validator Admin.
Current Status & Next Steps
- Tokenomics Testing: After finishing the staking incentive formulas (expected by the end of next week), we will move into the testing phase of the tokenomics model. Once this is complete, we plan to launch the devnet.
- Validator Onboarding: Simultaneously with the devnet launch, we will begin implementing tasks related to validator onboarding for the Mosaic Chain.
